A family-run lodge since 2013 deep in the Papenoo valley, which first housed staff of the hydroelectric company Marama Nui, with standard rooms and bungalows with terraces for up to 36 guests, an open-air restaurant and a function hall. Hiking trails, waterfalls, natural pools and marae lie around it, and there is no wifi. Our partner agency in Tahiti confirms rates and dates on request.
